The founder and proprietor of Green Lights Racing – Galabin Tchervenkov widely known as Alex has had a passion for cars from a very young age.

During his career of more than 29 years, Alex had an opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles makes, from East European Lada to Porsche and everything in between. He services every day cars, maintains classic ones and builds fast road and race engines. Alex worked for more than 6 years - tuning high performance cars at Extreme Autos on one of the few rolling roads in Ireland.

In 2010 Green Lights Racing had a very successful year with Anthony Connors in the Fiat Uno Championship for which he prepared the car, tuned the engine, set up the suspension and the race strategy. They managed to complete the impossible -12 races, 12 wins and no mechanical failures throughout the season.

In 2010 he developed the engine for Nigel Colfer‘s Allstar drift car. The engine has been used for more than 4 years with no mechanical failure, proving once again the reliability in Alex's work.

Since 2012 Alex has been the Chief of Crew for Dean Kearney’s race team in Formula Drift USA where they achieved 2nd place twice and reached the top 8 in fierce competition between 60 race drivers.

Cars for Alex are his hobby, his passion, his life.
